1 box Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix
4 eggs
3/4 c. oil
1 can mandarin oranges (use juice too)
1 - 1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped

FROSTING:

1 med. can crushed pineapple
1 lg. box instant vanilla pudding
1 lg. container Cool Whip

Beat first 3 cake ingredients together. Dice mandarin oranges; fold into mixture along with chopped nuts. Put into 3 round cake pans or 1 oblong cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes (rounds) or for oblong pan approximately 45 minutes. Cool cake. Combine all frosting ingredients. Frost cake. Store in refrigerator until used.
