Overnight Turkey

I just had to try this recipe and will now never cook a turkey any other way. The turkey was perfectly cooked in the a.m. and the meat was the moistest that I have ever had. The extra bonus was to go to bed with the house full of wonderful aromas and to have the oven free for the rest of the day.

I have made my turkeys this way for years now - except I cook it on 500°F for an hour. I don't use the Kitchen Bouquet. And I coat turkey with oil instead of butter. I now have a gas stove. Will this recipe work the same as in an electric oven?
