1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. sour milk
4 c. oatmeal
2 c. raisins
3 or 4 c. flour

Cream the shortening and sugar well. Add the eggs and beat more. Mix the teaspoon with the sour milk and add to the creamed mixture alternately with the flour. Add the oatmeal next and last the raisins which have been boiled a little and drained. Bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown.
