GREEN BEAN PIE 
8 oz. fresh beans, cut in lengthwise strips
4 oz. can mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 c. shredded cheddar (4 oz.)
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. Bisquick
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 10 inch pie plate. Heat 1 cup water to boiling; add beans; cover and cook 30 minutes. Drain. Mix beans, mushrooms, onion, garlic and cheese in pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients 15 seconds in blender until smooth (high speed). Pour onto mixture in pie plate. Bake until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.
