TUGBOAT ANNIE BARS 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Press mixture in an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until browned. While still warm, cut in bars of squares. Cool before removing from pan. Makes about 60 bars.
