FRESH VEGETABLE MARINADE 
4 stalks fresh broccoli, cut into bite size
8 lg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 med. size green pepper, sliced
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 sm. cauliflower, broken into flowerets
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. oil
1 sm. onion, sliced into rings

Heat vinegar, sugar, salt and oil until sugar melts. Remove. Add dry mustard and salt. Let cool. Toss. Chill at least 3 hours.
