QUICK NUT BREAD 
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix sugar and egg until creamy. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk. Add to nuts and mix well. Allow to rise for 20 minutes in the baking loaf pan (grease pan). Bake in a slow oven, about 1 hour. Completely cool before slicing.
