WHOLE WHEAT MUFFINS | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. packed brown sugar 1 egg 2 c. whole wheat flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. milk or water 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and sugar together and then add the egg. Add flour and soda alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Mix in vanilla and nuts. Fill greased muffin cups or paper baking cups 2/3 full. Bake in 425 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Yield: 12 to 14. |
