BEEF PIE 
4 c. mashed potatoes, instant or regular
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
3 tbsp. onion soup mix
Parsley to taste
Nutmeg to taste

When making mashed potatoes, add egg, parsley and nutmeg. Spread in a buttered 9 inch pie plate, building up thick sides. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, brown 1 pound ground beef; drain off fat. Season meat with onion soup mix, and spoon into mashed potato shell. Bake 10 minutes longer. Serve.
