BEEF POT PIE 
2 lb. beef
3 tbsp. lard
1 c. diced potatoes
1 c. diced carrots
6 sm. onions
Salt
Pepper
Flour

Cut beef neck or chuck into 1-inch cubes. Roll in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Brown in hot lard. Cover with water and simmer gently about 45 minutes. Add vegetables. Cook about 20 minutes or until vegetables begin to get tender. Transfer to a casserole. Top with baking powder biscuits and put in hot 400 degree oven to bake the biscuits.
