PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. flank steak, cut into even strips
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 med. onion, sliced
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 sm. can mushrooms & liquid
3 tbsp. oil
3/4 c. ketchup
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 green onions

Saute flank steak in 2 tablespoons oil. Remove meat from pan. Add rest of ingredients, except onion. Heat sauce. Add meat and onions. Cover and simmer 40 minutes or until meat is tender. Add green onions, cut into strips. Add mushrooms. Simmer 10 minutes. Add water if sauce becomes too thick. Serve over rice. Serves 4.
