GREEN PEPPER STEAK 
1 (2/2 lbs. round steak cut in 1/2 x 1 inch strips
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (15 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
2 lg. green peppers, cut in strips
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. steak sauce
3 c. cooked rice

Season meat with salt and pepper. Brown meat strips in oil. Lightly saute onions and green peppers. Add to meat. Add stewed tomatoes, oregano and steak sauce. Cook slowly for 1 hour in heavy skillet or electric frying pan.
