BRAN MUFFIN MIX | |
Soak 4 c. original Kellogg All-Bran in 2 c. boiling water; set aside Mix in large bowl: 1 c. shortening, liquid is best 2 1/2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 qt. buttermilk Add to soaked All-Bran and add: 2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran 5 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Refrigerate in covered bowl. Bake as you need. Keeps up to 6 weeks. Spoon into muffin tins. Do not stir once it is mixed. Bake 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees. Also can add raisins. |
