AMARETTO BON BONS | |
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces 3 tbsp. corn syrup 1/4 c. superfine granulated sugar 2 tsp. instant coffee 1 tsp. boiling water 1/4 c. almond flavored liquor 1 c. (approx. 24) crushed shortbread cookies 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Unsweetened cocoa Combine chocolate, corn syrup, sugar, instant coffee and water in the top of a double boiler. Heat over barely simmering water just until chocolate is melted, remove from heat. Stir liquor, cookie crumbs and walnuts into chocolate mixture; cool, chill. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in cocoa. Keep in tightly covered container in refrigerator. |
