Quick & Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

 Laura Kobel (Iowa) says:
These are really good, but not very sweet. I have done two things to make them sweeter. #1 - I sprinkle sugar over them after I flatten them and #2 - I keep them in a ball, roll them in the sugar and then when they are done baking I will add a candy star in the middle of them. They are perfect cookie for the young ones to help with!

I babysit my grandkids and nephew and we are always baking. My 5 y/o nephew can make these from start to finish - well I deal with the oven part. They are very good cookies - I can't keep them in my house for more than just a few hours! I did add granulated sugar on top of them - criss-crossed the top and then sprinkled sugar on them before I put them in the oven. It wasn't too much sweetness either.

I have made these already and they are great, so I was low on regular sugar and used brown sugar instead and they are still great!

I was a little skeptical about making these cookies as the recipe called for no flour, but I took the chance today and made them but put the rolled balls in a mini muffin pan and they turned out GREAT!!! I chopped some peanuts up and added also, fantastic! :)

I have been baking these for years!! Only I don't flatten them. When they come out of the oven, I put on a hershey kiss or brach's star and let them cool. One of my kids favorite cookies.
