I really liked this. I'm vegan and I made it with daiya jackstyle vegan cheese thinly sliced over piazza sauce with spinach sprinkled on. I did use whole wheat flour and about 1 1/4 cup water 2 tsp oil. I rolled it out and flattened it more with my fingers and knuckles. I did brush soy butter and garlic over crust. I also used basil and Itallian seasoning over the cheese. It is like pizza bread but I liked it a lot. Thanks.

Perfect! I never have yeast on hand and in my search for a yeast free recipe, I found this one. I subbed whole wheat flour and spread garlic butter on the dough before putting it in the oven. I cooked it for five minutes first (using a pizza stone) then added my toppings. I used a strained homemade tomato salsa, baby spinach and cheddar, sprinkle a little salt and back in the oven for 20 more minutes. Perfect!

it rose more than i expected so I think I made it a little too thick...but the actual dough tasted great!

AMAZING! first time making it... used a little more oil and water but kneaded it in the excess flour. I made bite size pizzas and cooked for 5 mins, then took them out to distribute the sauce and toppings - put them back in for 11 minutes and they were perfect! Definitely going to use this recipe more often. Thanks so much!

Freezes very well!!! I always make twice the amount and wrap the rest in plastic wrap and freeze. I place out at room temp untill soft and roll it on out!

I used the baking soda instead. The dough was pretty sticky from my experience. I put the dough in the over for about 5 minutes and it rose a little bit. I then took it out and put my sauce, cheese and other toppings and popped it back in for another 12 or so minutes.

Taste wise the crust isnt very much like pizza crust. That being said though it still tastes good and it works.

Good recipe but try: 2 cups self raising flour, one cup of water and a large pinch of salt for the dough and kneed for 5 mins, taste just as good and is a lot easier.. Just pan fry till the base is golden brown then cover in your tomato sauce, toppings and cheese and finish under the grill.. If you feel the dough wasn't rolled thin enough And might be a little under cooked you can always put It in the oven afterwards to cock right through.
Got this from my old head chef who is a michelan starred chef and he swears by this recipe when he has friends over!

Nice and easy recipe. Made 3 batches today, tweaked one of them with some extra herbs, and added a little bit more oil/water some times. This is as easy to make as the regular pizza dough mixes, and tastes as good. So this is a winner for me.

Frozen pizza is better, and that isn't saying much. Took one bite and that was more than enough. Dough tasted like flour. Will stick to making my regular pizza dough or ordering from the many local pizzerias. May be good if you don't live in the NY/NJ area and no what real pizza taste like.
