CHICKEN POT PIE 
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. cooked peas
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. chopped, cooked chicken
1 c. chopped carrots
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. poultry seasoning

Saute onions, celery and carrots in butter until tender. Add chicken broth and thicken with flour and milk. Add cut up chicken, peas, pepper, salt and poultry seasoning. Mix and place into two 9 inch pie plates or 1 long casserole dish lined with biscuit dough.

BISCUIT DOUGH FOR PIE SHELL AND TOP:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk

Bake in hot oven, 400 degrees, until browned.
