PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE KISSES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. granulated sugar
48 candy kisses

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In bowl combine butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, egg, vanilla and salt. Blend until light and fluffy. Add flour and baking soda, beating until blended. Shape dough into 48 balls. Roll balls into 3 tablespoons granulated sugar.

Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light golden. Immediately top each cookie with a candy kiss, carefully pressing down firmly. Remove from cookie sheet and cool.
