PEANUT BUTTER - KISS COOKIES 
1 2/3 c. flour
1/3 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
1/3 c. smooth style peanut butter
2/3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. packed dark brown sugar
1 lg. egg
2 tsp. vanilla extract
35-40 chocolate kisses

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease several baking sheets and set aside. Thoroughly stir together flour, cornstarch, baking powder and soda in a bowl.

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until very light. Stir in the powdered sugar. Add brown sugar and beat until very light and smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in the dry ingredients until all mixed well.

Roll small portions of dough in hands to make ball about 1 1/4 inch balls. Press a chocolate kiss on each ball and mold dough up around candy. Bake 9-11 minutes. Makes 35-40 cookies.
