CHESS PIE 
3 eggs
1-1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornmeal
1 tbsp. vinegar
3/4 stick butter
vanilla extract or lemon flavoring

Beat eggs, add sugar, cornmeal, vinegar and flavoring. Melt butter and add.

Bake in pie shell at 400°F until a thin knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Either your own home made pie crust or a store bought pie crust may be used.

This is the best Chess Pie and easy to make.

This was wonderful!! I baked it for 35 minutes, skipped the vanilla and subbed flour for the corn starch (I was out) and I've, honestly, never had better! I think that the vinegar really makes it unique. It's unbelievable how simple and incredible this recipe is :) A new Christmas staple at my house!
