1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (9 oz.) pkg. Hershey's kisses

Cream together shortening, sugar, and brown sugar. Add peanut butter, egg milk and vanilla and mix. Combine flour, baking soda, and separately then add to first ingredients; mix. Shape into balls with teaspoon and roll balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. When done, top each cookie with a chocolate kiss and press down. Let cool thoroughly.
