BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE 
1 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Mix sugar, flour and salt in saucepan. Add water. Cook, stirring constantly until it thickens. Remove from heat and add butter. When cool, stir in nuts, if desired.
