MOMS BUTTERMILK PIE 
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1 unbaked 9 in. pie shell
Nutmeg to taste
2 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. softened butter

Combine the flour and sugar in large mixing bowl and blend thoroughly. Beat in the buttermilk gradually, then add the butter, beating until smooth. Pour the mixture into the pie shell and sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake 40 minutes longer or until filling is set and top is browned.
