MOM'S EASY PIE CRUST FOR FREEZER | |
6 c. flour 1 tbsp. salt 1 lb. shortening 1 c. buttermilk Cut shortening, flour, and salt together. Add buttermilk and work to consistency of pie crust. Separate into 8 portions. Wrap each in waxed paper and store in plastic bags in freezer. My mom would roll out a pie crust, place in pizza pan, spread butter over pie crust, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and bake. What an after school treat! |
