MOM'S BANANA SPLIT PIE 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
16 oz. cream cheese
2 c. sugar
4 lg. bananas
20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 container Cool Whip
1/4 c. nuts, chopped
1/4 c. maraschino cherries, sliced
Lemon juice

Mix butter, 1/2 cup sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Cool. Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Spread over crust. Slice bananas (dip into lemon juice to avoid darkening). Place bananas on cream cheese mixture. Spread pineapple over. Mix Cool Whip and nuts. Spread on top. Chill. Can be garnished with maraschino cherry halves and nuts.
