ICEBOX COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. pecans, chopped fine

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, soda and salt, then add pecans. Mold dough into several small rolls. Wrap in wax paper. Chill overnight. Slice thin and bake at 375°F until brown.
