MEAT MARINADE | |
1/8 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 3 1/2 tbsp. molasses 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1/8 c. water 1/8 tsp. onion powder 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. vinegar Mix ingredients together in a deep, narrow bowl (a large butter container works well). This marinade is especially good for shish kabob. Soak meat in marinade at least 4 hours, or up to 2 days. Besides giving an excellent flavor, also tenderizes the meat. Stir the meat around in the marinade 2-3 times before cooking, like every 2 hours, if doing for 4 hours. |
