SHRIMP & CRAB MEAT AU GRATIN 
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. granulated garlic
1/2 tsp. MSG
1/2 c. flour
3 c. hot milk
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
10 oz. crab meat
10 oz. raw shrimp, shelled & cleaned
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 tsp. paprika
Additional grated cheddar cheese

Melt butter and add salt, garlic and MSG. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in hot milk. Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese until blended. Add shellfish (being sure crab meat is free of shells). Add cheddar cheese. Bring to boil then turn off heat. Mix remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese with paprika and sprinkle half the mixture evenly on bottom of individual or large au gratin dish. Stir shellfish mixture well, then turn into dish or dishes. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and cheddar cheese. (Mixture may be frozen or refrigerated until ready to use at this point.)

Bake at 450 degrees until cheese melts. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
