BANANA BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder together. Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs into creamed mixture. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in nuts, mashed bananas and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in a greased, large loaf pan, or bake for 30 minutes if using 2 small loaf pans.

For cupcakes, fill each cup 2/3 full (grease pans). Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes. For layer cake, double recipe, omitting baking powder. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes in 9"x13" pan.
