BANANA BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
6 ripe bananas, mashed
1 c. sour cream
4 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins or dates
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and bananas and mix well. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients into the banana mixture and mix well. Fold in nuts and raisins. Pour into 3 foil loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
