HUNGARIAN ASPARAGUS 
2 lbs. asparagus
Salted boiling water
1 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
2 c. dairy sour cream
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Peel asparagus and cook in boiling water to which sugar has been added. Boil until tender. Drain. Butter an ovenproof dish. Add half of sour cream and bread crumbs, then asparagus, then cream and crumbs. Bake in 325 degree oven about 30 minutes. Serves 4.
