CARAMEL CORN 
3 qts. popped corn
1/2 c. white syrup
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix syrup, sugar, salt, vinegar and butter in pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil until mixture comes to a hard crack stage (or spins a thread) in water. Add the soda and mix well. (It will get foamy.) Pour over popped corn and mix well in a large pan.
