MOM'S CARAMEL CORN 
16 to 18 c. popped corn, lightly salted
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
2 sticks butter
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix all except popcorn and soda. Dissolve over low heat - boil 5 minutes on medium high heat. Remove and add soda. Pour over popcorn and mix well.

Put in 250 degree oven for 30 minutes stirring every few minutes. Pour onto cookie sheets.

Let cool and store in metal or plastic containers.

Will foam up!
