SOUR CREAM CORN BREAD 
3/4 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. shortening
1 c. sour cream (dairy sour cream)
1/4 c. milk

Bake in 9" pan at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
