"APPLE CRUNCH CAKE" 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. apples, chopped fine
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat well; add flour, soda and spices. Blend well. Lastly add nuts and apples. Put in 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
