ZESTY SHRIMP COCKTAIL 
This is a party recipe for 10 people; you can increase or decrease the amounts to your taste and number of people.

1 to 2 1/2 lbs. uncooked shrimp
1 jar white horseradish
1 sm. can tomato paste (2 to 4 tsp.) or catsup
3 to 10 shots Tabasco (see note below)

Boil enough water to cook shrimp. Once water boils, add 1 teaspoon salt and shrimp. Cook 15 to 20 minutes (do not overcook shrimp or they get dry and mealy; undercook them and they are rubbery).

While the shrimp cook, mix 1/2 bottle of horseradish, 2 teaspoons tomato paste and 3 shots Tabasco. Cool, shell and rinse shrimp. Arrange around a plate with sauce in center.

NOTE: Some people like cocktail sauce hot, some mild, some more tomato tasting -- it's to your discretion.
