ITALIAN NOODLE BAKE 
8 oz. pkg. egg noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
8 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. cottage cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion

Cook noodles as directed on the package. Brown meat in butter and add tomato sauce, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

While noodles are hot add cottage cheese, sour cream and onions. Layer noodles and meat in a casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
