RICE KRISPIE COOKIES (RANGER
RICKS)
 
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Rice Krispies
Quick oatmeal
Coconut or nuts, optional

Cream shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Stir in 2 cup quick oatmeal and 2 cup Rice Krispies. Add 1 cup coconut or 1 c. chopped nuts if desired.

Roll into balls and flatten. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
