DROP DOUGHNUTS 
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tsp. baking powder
salt
1 7/8 c. all-purpose flour
confectioners' sugar, for dusting

Beat egg with sugar until light. Add milk and melted butter, then dry ingredients sifted together. Drop by spoonsful into hot fat. Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. When slightly cooled, coat with confectioners' sugar.
