PARADISE CUSTARD | |
3 c. milk 1 c. cornstarch 1 c. water 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. rose water 1/3 c. garnished slivered almonds, toasted 1 tsp. chopped pistachio nuts In a saucepan, combine milk, cornstarch and water and mix well. Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Add sugar and rosewater and simmer 15 minutes longer, until the mixture reaches the consistency of a pudding. Remove from heat. Pour in a serving bowl. Decorate with almond and pistachio nuts. Chill to serve. |
