APPLE BREAD
I found this recipe on a website that is no longer available online. It had thousands of recipes from Bed & Breakfast Inn's from all over the United States and Canada. This recipe was from a Bed & Breakfast in Ogunquit Maine. It is called Puffin Inn and they are still open.

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 cups diced apple (peeled)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and baking powder together. Beat eggs and add sugar and oil. Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Stir in apples. Mix walnuts in a teaspoon of flour and add to batter. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

I've made this recipe a few times and have to say that it always turns out so delicious! My family loves it especially during the fall when we get to enjoy apple season. I would definitely recommend this recipe to anyone looking for something sweet but not too heavy. The texture of the bread is moist and tender, perfect with hot cinnamon coffee.
