CRAB GIOVANNI 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. chopped onions
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced or mashed
1/2 lb. vermicelli cooked
1 lb. crab meat
1/2 c. sliced, stuffed, green olives
1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 can (1 lb. 12 oz.) tomatoes broken in pieces
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil

Melt the butter in a large frying pan and slowly saute the onions, mushrooms and garlic until tender. Combine with remaining ingredients, stirring until well mixed.

Pour mixture into a greased 3 quart casserole or baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly. If dish has been refrigerated allow about 1 hour baking time.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.
