OLD FASHION CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

Melt butter; mix butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time to sugar mixture. Add flour 1 cup at a time, then rest of ingredients. Makes 6 or 7 layers "thin". Bake at 325 degrees until brown.

Chocolate Icing:

2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, cocoa, butter and milk, slowly bring to a boil. Stirring constantly over medium heat, boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add vanilla. Cool, then beat until desired texture is reached.
