CRISPY SUGAR COOKIES (CUT OUT) 
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 cups butter (6 sticks)
3 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
8 1/2 cups sifted flour
3 tsp. cream of tartar
3 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream sugar and butter, add eggs, extracts and mix. Sift dry ingredients and mix. Chill dough at least 2 hours.

Bake at 350°F 8-10 minutes. This is great cookie dough for cutout cookies. Cookies will be light in color when they are done. Do not over bake.
