CUT-OUT SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk

Cream butter; add sugar and mix egg yolks and vanilla. Blend in flour and baking powder and milk. Chill 1 hour. Roll 1/8 inch thick on floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes. Frost when cool. About 5 dozen depending on size.

DECORATING FROSTING:

2 egg whites
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
Food coloring

Beat egg whites until they peak. Add sugar gradually and beat until dissolved and frosting stands in peaks. Add syrup and beat 1 minute. Divide frosting into small portions. Add desired colors. Add a few drops of water if thinner frosting is needed.
