“MEXICAN ORANGE CANDY” IS IN:

MEXICAN ORANGE CANDY 
3 cups sugar, divided
1 1/2 cups milk, scalded
1 cup walnuts
rind of 2 oranges
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

Brown 1 cup sugar to golden brown. Dissolve scalded milk. Add remaining sugar; boil until it forms a hard ball (250-266°F on candy thermometer).

Add nuts, rind and butter. Beat until creamy.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.
