STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS | |
6 lg. green peppers 1 lb. ground meat 1 c. dry bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1 1/2 c. tomato juice Remove stems and seed from bell pepper. Mix ground meat, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, onion and 1/2 cup tomato juice and stuff peppers with mixture. Put in baking dish, pour remaining tomato juice over stuffed peppers. Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, uncover and bake 15 minutes longer. |
