We LOVE this dip!! I took this to a Iowa vs Iowa State football party we were invited to last night & EVERYONE LOVED IT!! I omit the onion flakes & dice up about 8-10 green onions instead So Much Better! I cut up Fresh Bagels in bite size pieces to put the dip on. I use Plain, Onion & Everything Flavored Bagels & used Italian Herb Focaccia bread cut up too. I call it Bagel Dip. Please try it's GREAT!!! P.S. let it chill in fridge at least 6 hours before eating or even better over night.

Very good and makes a lot. I used the last of our corned venison (which I think is probably more salty than Carl Buddig) and it was a little salty but excellent flavor! I agree, it would make great bagel dip.
