CHICKEN LIVERS AND MUSHROOMS 
3 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 med. onion, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 lb. chicken livers
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. snipped parsley
1/2 tsp. pepper

Place bacon and onion in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover. Microwave on high (100%) until bacon is crisp and onion is tender, 3-6 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Microwave on medium (70%) until chicken livers are warm and tender and sauce is thickened 17-22 minutes, stirring once or twice. Serve over rice or noodles, if desired. Serves 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
