7 - LAYER SALAD 
2/3 hd. or more lettuce, shredded
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. chopped sweet onion
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 pkg. frozen English peas

Cook peas according to directions on package; drain and cool.

Layer in deep bowl. Spread 2 cups or less of mayonnaise on top. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar over mayonnaise. Sprinkle 10 ounces of grated cheddar cheese on top. Cover and let set for 24 hours in refrigerator. When ready to serve, sprinkle 1/2 jar Bacos on top. This will keep in covered container in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
